Senior Surfer was a Global Game Jam 2014(January 2014)  entry by a team of four. It portrays a lone surfer avoiding all sorts of dangers as the situation escalates severely.

The theme was "We don't see thing as they are, but as we are", and while the game initially doesn't look like it fits the theme, I think it does when one sees the ending.

SFML and C++ were used programming the game.
#YOLO - You Only Legit Once was a Ludum Dare 28(December 2013) entry by a team of four. The game features an  one-legged agent escaping along a hallway with stolen jewelry, disabling traps as they come.

The theme was "You only get one"
This was the first time I actually used Box2D for other than purely testing purposes, and I learnt a lot whilst using it.

SFML, Box2D and C++ were used in programming the game.
Attack of the Demon Shark(s) was a MiniLD46(November 2013) Shark Jam game by two programmers.
It features multiplayer via network, sharks with lazer beams attached to their heads, and explosions.

I hadn't touched any network code before this game, and it did take a good chunk out of the time I had. But boy did I learn a lot.

SFML and C++ were used in programming the game.
Dodge These was a Ludum Dare 27 (August 2013)  compo entry I made.
In the game you have to navigate a minefield while going through it at maximum speed. While you can't slow down, you can slow down time itself, but doing so will lower your score.

I wasn't familiar with neither 3D graphics engines nor 3D modeling before this game, so it taught me a lot.

SFML,irrLicht, and C++ were used in the development of this game.
Also, I used Blender and GIMP for the graphics.
Partagus was a Ludum Dare 26(April 2013) game made by a team of four
In the game you play as a masculine gladiator fighting to the bitter end in an arena. You can swing your sword or shout to slay your enemies.

A good part of the jam went into making functional player-to-tile collisions and refactoring C# rotating hitbox code for an earlier project, but I'm pretty happy about the game overall.

SFML and C++ were used in programming the game.

LightHeart is a Global Game Jam 2013 (January 2013) entry by two artists and three programmers.
The game portrays a lone soul going through limbo and avoiding its dangers either by outrunning them, or sneaking quietly to avoid detection.

During this jam I learned how powerful a tool Microsoft Paint really is, as it was used in the game as a map editor.

SFML and C++ were used in programming the game.

Master of The Red Clouds is a Get Online 2012 (October 2012)  - GameDev compo entry by two programmers.
It is a shoot 'em up game featuring colourful ASCII-graphics and customizable player graphics.

This was my first game jam game, during which I learnt the ropes of rapid game development and also SFML, as I hadn't used it before.

Again, SFML and C++ were used programming the game.
